yay! long weekend...

Finally the weekend has come. This past week has been fairly jam packed with work. I stayed late the whole week. Today was the only day I actually left fairly on time from work around 6.15ish. I've been leaving the office at around 7.30-8 the past few evenings. I guess the rush was all good since most of the items I was working on was completed today. Phew. Now I can relax a lil for the weekend.
This weekend will be full of rest and phun since Vips is in town. I missed ya girlie! I'm planning more weekend events as the summer progresses. So far, I'm booked to see 'Senses' with my dad on July 15th and we're also planning a trip to PEI. Woohoo. Travel is phun. More bbq plans will be made soon.
Anyhoos, gotta go pick up vips at the aeroport...airport?? what's the diff? ciao!

whirlwind of a weekend...

Yipes. it's sunday already. where has the time gone?? I can't seem to even remember what I did on friday. hmm. oh yeah, I bummed around at home on friday. hehe. work is tiring man!
I went golfing on saturday with some pals and bummed around a bit. also hung out wiht friends and watched a moofie last nite as well. today, i got stuck going to centre island cuz my boss gave me and my coworker VIP tix. so we went downtown. I gotta say, it wasn't as crowded as I remembered it used to be, but that's always a good thing for the traveller, no line ups. the Toronto Chinese Business Assoc had the best tent. It was right smack dab at the finish line. So our tix got us free food and a very good view of the race. I noticed that UT had a loooooot of teams. their faculties were racing against each other. it was phunnie cuz after awhile, the announcer stopped announcing every boat, but just said 'lanes 1,3,4,5 are UT boats' hahahaha. there were only 6 lanes.
I think having watched them race today, I really should find time to try out to see if I could get on one of these teams one summer. I really would like to see the difference between racing in the toronto boats and the hk boats. I gotta say, as much as ppl practice in hk, the boats are so old and sucky, you have almost a 50% chance of sinking. haha. oy. the boats I saw today seemed fairly sturdy and stayed well above the water.
anyhoos, I'm so pooped that I dun even think any of the stuff I jsut wrote made any sense or are grammatically correct. bah. no care. me no speaky engrish.
