shopping spree part II...

I spent yet another day in the herds of ppl, shopping. I spent oodles of money today and I'm still not done shopping. haha. Oy. I bought 4 pairs of jeans today!! 4!! Only cuz they were so cheap. $40CDN a pair and they're miss sixty's. I couldn't stop myself from buying 4 since you won't find another sale like this till next winter.
Anyhoos, enuf about my shopping sprees. I'm heading to Shanghai tomoro, so I'd like to wish you all a very merry christmas. I hope to see you all when I return to Toronto in time to welcome the new year. I can't wait for my vacations to start! But I really really reeeeally am not looking forward to my airplane ride. For those of you who know me well enuf, I HATE PLANE RIDES. Luckily, my plane back to Toronto this time will be direct. So it'll be 2 hours shorter than the normal flight. Woowee! 15 hour ride! Yuk!! I wish I had company on these long flights. Bah. I can't wait to get home. I'll be home for christmas...almost

shopping spree...

I spent the day with a friend from toronto shopping around. Sadly, we weren't able to buy anything we wanted. The street were filled with ppl today. I shoulda took a pic of all the crowed ppl milling about on the streets to show you guys just how hectic hk can get when pre-christmas sales are on. My and my friend got stuck in the middle of the road amongst the crowd of ppl. Seriously, traffic stopped becuase of all the ppl crossing the street. Well, anyhoos, my friend and I couldn't buy stuff becuase today because there were just too many ppl and many sizes were already out. We were about to head home a lil defeated since we set off this afternoon to empty our wallets. But, after my friend left to go to her grans for din din and I was left all alone, I found a secret sale. Well, not quite secret, but it was one of those mass sales that some shops do every year. I spent under $200 CDN on 3 jackets. Neat eh? Okay, some of you may say $200 CDN is a lot fo spend. But trust me, in hk, u can spend $1000CDN veeery easily. For those of you who are planning to come to hk to shop, make sure you bring a minimum of that amount (just for clothes, more if you want techy stuff). Anyhoos, I got my sister a casual suit jacket by Miss Sixty and I got myself a Diesel jacket and Miss Sixty down jacket. I called my friend rite away because she was looking for a long down jacket. I told her she could get one for under $500 HKD by Diesel or Miss Sixty. It was only a matter of looking for it in the millions of racks. More shopping tomoro!! Weeee! I'm enjoying this. Many thanks to all the uncles and aunties who decided to give me cash for my birthday and christmas. Woohoo!
