arg!!

okis, as I was staring at my books and notes today I was thinking how I really wanted to be working instead of studying. Maaan, I hate school. I've been in it for so long I really just wanna be out there working. Have an income for a change. I mean, it took me 3/4 of a yr of work to save enough moeny for 2 yrs of law school. I dun wanan spend the money! I wanna work! I wanna earn money. I want a steady income!!!
Yes, I know I'm whining, but hey all of you guys are working now. Okay, okay not all, but majority of you guys are working. I wanna work! I wanna stop spending money I dun have. I just wanna wooooooork. Working has such a different balance than school. Some of you might think work is boring, but I really like it. Okay, 9-5 mon-fri may seem routine, but it's good to have some structure in life. I'm hitting mid twenties and I've always thought I'd already be working by now already. But now, I'm stuck in school again.
I know that I was exicted to do a law degree but it's a really looooooong commitment. I won't be a practicing lawyer til I'm 28/29! That's a loooooong way away! Okay, I know I have a habit of looking ahead and knowing what I'll be doing in a few years time, but now, I just wanna finish up my LLB and see if I still wanan go ahead to become a practicing lawyer.
Meeeeeeeeeeep!! I feel veeeeery whiney. It's the stubud books. AAAAAAHHHHH!!
Okay, if nothing I just wrote makes sense its' cuz I'm just whiney and stressed and venting. Grrr. YOU! OFF MY PLANET!

week recap...

Hmm. This week has been a lil slow since lectures have ended and I've just become a bookworm. I finally handed in my big assessed essay and had my last seminar this past tuesday and you kno what? I ended up having a seminar with just the prof. Lovely! Why? Cuz apparantly eveyrone in my group failed to show up for it! I think ppl were trying to frantically finish their paper (we had a 3PM deadline) or they just assumed no lectures = no seminar. Normally I'd be fairly freaked out having a one-on-one seminar with a prof, but she was a kick ass prof. So luckily we spent only 20 mins on the course work (which thank goodness I decided to prep for) and the rest of the time we were just chatting. Phew. Apparantly she was impressed with one of the essays I handed in to her too, so I was a happy gal. I think that was the highlight of my week. Hehe. That and being whistled at while walking to town. I think whistling and ass grabbing is a common thing here in the UK cuz it's only happened here, not in HK, or anywhere else I've travelled to. Ppl are so awful! Respect ppl's personal space man! Okay, I'm boring you guys, just wait for my "i'm done i'm done and free!" blog. After that I'm sure things will be much more exciting. Wish me luck with the studying! :O)
