question...

Is it very unhealthy to be lounging around in the house in lounging clothing and a big fluffy robe and watching epis of CSI and Gilmore Girls all day long? I've been doing this for a few days now. I think I'm officially becoming a bed potatoe. yes, potato with an e. Blah. I'm going to enjoy my time home. Watching tv all day with my textbooks open in front me makes me feel less guilty. Hehe. More tv please!

one more thing!

Many of you guys know I'm a tv freak. Hehe. Of late, I've been hooked on watching CSI. I like the CSI Las Vegas ones, cuz I like the ppl in it better than the other CSI's. There has been these CSI marathons on spike tv and I've just been glued to the tv til 1 in the morning. Hahaha. This is so sad. I have another show I'm hooked on. Did anyone watch Jake in Progress? I wonder if that's any good. It's got that dude from Full House!! Hehe.

yummie food!

Okis, so I splurged a bit tonite. But eh, it's worth it! I have my summer job! Anyhoos, we went to Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar for din din. It's a really nice small lil restaurant on Church St. Nice selection of wines and good but small portioned foods. Among the 3 of us we ordered I think 6 or 7 main dishes and 2 desserts. We spent around $40 each which was a lil more than I expected but we also ordered half a litre of Inniskilin reisling. So that added to the bill. All in all, it was a great evening out. The interesting thing about this place is that they have a different menu every night. I was surprised it was so packed on a tuesday nite! We ended up sitting at the bar cuz the last table got taken up by the guy in front of us. Doh! Oh well, we had a great time, good convo, good food, and very yums creme brulee. Hehe. I'm going to be dessert hunting during the summer for sure!

woohoo!

So I have finally confirmed my job for the summer!! Yes my darlings, I will be in TO for the summer. I had a really nice lunch with my boss and the new office looks great. It seems like I will get a lot of work to do. Yippee!!
TO weather is soooo nice. More sun! More sun! I can't get enough of it!! Anyhoos, I'm heading downtown for the evening to try out this neat lil wine bar restaurant. I'll tell you guys how it goes!

a woman's worth...

Okis peeps, I know I sent some of you this email. But I really think it's worth posting. So here it is again:

In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the question "What kind of man are you looking for?" She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking "Do you really want to know?" Reluctantly, he said "Yes."

She began to expound...
"As a woman in this day and age, I am in a position to ask a man what he can do for me that I can't do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care of my household without the help of any man...or woman for that matter. I am in the position to ask, "What can you bring to the table?"

The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money.
She quickly corrected his thought and stated, "I am not referring to money. I need something more. I need a man who is striving for perfection in every aspect of life."

He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain. She said "I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally because I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don't need a simple-minded man. I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually because I don't need to be unequally yoked.... believers mixed with unbelievers are a recipe for disaster. I need a man who is striving for perfection financially because I don't need a financial burden. I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded. I am looking for someone who I can respect. In order to be submissive, I must respect him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn't taking care of his business. I have no problem being submissive...he just has to be worthy. God made woman to be a help mate for man; I can't help a man if he can't help himself.

When she finished her spill, she looked at him. He sat there with a puzzled look on his face. He said,"You are asking a lot." She replied, "I'm worth a lot."

odd...

I had this really weird dream that I went for my usual haircut and the dude was like "yeah yeah, I remember how you want it, just a normal trim." So trusting this dude, I started reading a magazine. As I was reading I noticed A LOT of hair falling on the floor, so I looked up and I was thinking 'hmm. he sure seems to be layering a lot this time.' After awhile I started to feel a lil uncomfy. But by then it was too late. I had like chin length hair. Panicked I told the dude 'GAH! NOT THAT SHORT!' but just like any place u go to get ur hair cut, the hairstylist have a different point of view. The dude goes 'no dear! It's maaaaaarvalaous!' (talking with a french accent). Anyhoos, there isn't a point to my dream. Just that it was so odd. And the hair dude was that dude from gilmore girls. Hahaha. The receptionist dude at the Inn. Hahahaha. Oy. I think I'm watching too many GG epis. Hahahaha.
Oh Oh. I found out yesterday that my cousin was running for a position for Director of something or other. (sorry kev. I forgot the title now) hahaha. But anyhoos, he's an exec for the UT commerce student body. Congrats! All that work and now you have beaten your competitor by double the votes! hahahahah. Now you just have to wait patiently for hot chickies to flock to u. hehehe.
