iiiii'm meeeeeltiiiiiing...
It's sooooo hot in Beijing and getting hotter. I guess it's probably just as hot as HK if not hotter, but I'm not always outdoors when I'm in HK so I don't notice it as much. I tend to walk home from school which is a good looooooong (~30min) walk down a straight road in the baking hot sun. I have this funky sandals tan on my feet. Hehe. Not the nicest tan lemme tell ya. I think I'm going to be pretty dark by the time I head back to HK. I gotta remind myself this is only the beginning of the summer hot season, it's going to get even hotter. GAH!
I think I'm getting used to the way society functions here. When I go out to shop, I always bargain and try to get shirts, etc for 20RMB or less. So when I go to an actual store I gawk at prices for pants that are like 80RMB (~15cdn) and say its too pricey. hahaha. I'm becoming a er....Beijing-ian! hahaha.
Anyhoos, I was bored and didn't want to study my chinese so decided to blog, going to head out now to do some bargain shopping and 5rmb noodles. hahaha. Chat with ya'll laters.
Last note: Congrats to my friends who just graduated!! Your 3 yrs of LLB hell is over!! Good luck in the future with your BVC/LPC!!

I would love a warmer summer right now, much better for cycling after work :D
I'll have to try out that barganing technique next time I'm in HK; Not as likely to work as where you are, but you never know ;-)
Hope classes are going well! (And I'm envious about all that food you are talking about :P)
