a cold in such hot weather?

You betcha! Only someone like me can catch a cold in this heat. Haha. Actually I think there is a bug going around cuz everyone seems to be sick. I just find it weird to be having the sniffles when it's soooo hot out. So I knew I was coming down with something so I tried to counter it with some good ol' tylenol. I passed out last nite, haha. Even this morning when I woke up I was a lil woozy. Maybe I took too many...oops. So far the stuffy, runny nose has stopped though so it's a good sign.
Hmm. Here's a lil update. So far, I haven't done much cuz I have realized how much work I need to put in to actually get some sort of benefit out of the 4 hr classes. I'm so sick of looking at chinese characters! Haha. I went to the silk mkt over the weekend by subway to do some shopping. Got a cheap bag and that's about it, but my friend bought a tonne of stuff. Subway in Beijing is okis. It's really squishy and narsty hot though so if you're tired, you really dun wanna take the subway. One of my friends here left on Monday cuz she didn't want to stay any longer. I guess culture shock and just being able to adapt to the surroundings can make you want to go home.
Anyhoos, hopefully I'll get over this stubud cold soon and have my weekend back. I already missed 2 days of classes! gah!!!
