suggestions?
My mum has suddenly gone high-tech on me and told me to purchase a pda fone/blackberry gadget. She doesn't want me to bring my laptop to beijing with me, so she's offering to get me a new gadget. Woot! hahaha. Hmm. carte blanche. oh so tempting! Thing is, I had a palm before and rarely used it. Any suggestions you guys have about getting a gadget where I can email, surf, use word, etc? I haven't really researched this stuff since 1st year uni at loo. haha. I'm sure things have improved since then. Any suggestions would be good! Thanx a bunch!!

wouldn't it be really inconvenient to have to do assignments all on your palm...and easier to bring your laptop? haha

hehe. i dun think i'll be doing assignments on a laptop. it's intensive mandarin i'm learning so it'll probably be a lot more handwriting and txtbk reading and stuff. i just need something to keep me connected to the world.

why doesn't your mom want you to bring ur laptop. that is much more convenient.
