I've been looking at some gadgets and have sort of narrowed down to either the O2 Xda Atom or the HP rw6828. Hmmm. Anyone been using an HP or O2 gadget and can gimme an opinion?

Hmmm, smart phone type devices.
I have a friend who swears by HP stuff, but I've had mixed luck with quality on their kit other then printers.
They actually look almost identical for the base specs(The O2 looks to have more public information out there). Neither of them are 3G(W-CDMA/HSDPA) which won't be an issue in terms of service since 3G falls back to GSM/GPRS. It will limit the upper bound on DL speed going forward (not likely to have an effect either way in China)
This would be one of the rare cases that I think it's just going to be which one you like better instead of one having some clear advantage over the other.
