no fedex?

So I've discovered that sending mail here is a hassle. Why? First off, you need to go to the post office so they can weigh your letter before you mail it. Since I usually mail things internationally the rates are calculated differently so I hafta go to the post office. It's such a hassle to have to go to the post office every time I want to mail something. The locations of post offices are weird too, there are like two post offices within REALLY close vicinity of each other in the city centre, but none on campus. It's either city centre or going way past the uni. HASSLE! Did I mention the long line ups at the post offices? No? Well, LOOOOOOOOONG line ups! everytime! It's the kind where you think you might be able to mail something during your lunch hour, but end up madly running back to lecture and not getting to eat lunch. Poo. I've discovered that it takes approximatly 6-7 days to mail something internationally. I asked the guy "is there any other way I get this there in 3 days?" The guy says "no" in a way that seemed more like, "look lady there is a whole line up of ppl just pay me and go." Sigh. I just find it weird they dun have speedy delivery like fedex?? WEIRD!
Anyhoos, I just felt like ranting. Back to readings!
