drowning in paperwork...

anyone wanna throw me a saftey ring? or whatever u call those thingies? sadly, I've been working on the same paper for almost a week now and I'm still not done. why? cuz I seriously duno how to approach some of the issues. mer. I reallly need the first week of December to pass, cuz after that, it's all clear road till the holidays. Grrrr. I need help!
now on to something totally unrelated to school, my mumsy seems to call me more often now. Though I do like calls from family and friends, I'm starting to really wonder why my mumsy keeps calling me. All of a sudden the only thing she seems interested in is whether I have a bf or not. I think she may be going through some crisis whereby she'd like to see all her kids paired off or something. But, unfortunately with my course work and my being a tad bit sensitive about not having that significant other, it annoys me when my mumsy keeps asking. It's like this, "wai? how are you doing? etc etc...have you met any nice boys yet? do you have a bf? what? no one going for you? gum cham ah?! you should really find a nice boy in uni, etc etc" and so it goes on. As usual my response would be along the lines of, "no, no friends...no, no bf...no no no...etc etc." HALLO! I have a million other things on my mind other than finding some guy. GrR! Okay, I'm just a lil pissy cuz I can't seem to stay on top of things, but still! Can you guys imagine how annoying it is to have ur mumsy bug u about stuff like this? especially since she used to never want me to be going out. what gives?!?! okies, I'm only ranting now cuz this afternoon's fone convo was so useless and a complete time waster! okay, given it was like a 5 minute convo, it was still time wasting cuz all she did was ask if I had a bf how school was and then hung up! Gah!! it's like, gee, thanx mumsy, I know I'm getting older, I dun attract guys and I dun have good qualities, you dun have to keep reminding me! maybe I should just tell my mumsy I'm going out with a chickie. that might throw her off. Arg! *%@&^@#$!!
