montreal long weekend...

I'm back from a nice long weekend in Montreal. Loads of phun was had. Pics will be posted soon. I promise! I just have to go pick up one of those memory card adaptor thingies.

Ah, the memories of going on road trips with friends. From ol' cottage trips to visiting other friends' university trips. Ah, so much phun! Montreal was really nice. I really enjoyed Old Port and the Notre Dame. On Sunday, we went to the Notre Dame for the 5 o'clock mass. It was so beautiful in there. Really warm, but nonetheless, it felt really good to be in there. It brings back childhood memories of going to church with my Korean Auntie. Yes people, I used to go to catholic church. I even had prayer beads. Makes me think that I should start going back to church.

Anyhoos, we got rained out on saturday, but we made up for the rain day by packing sunday and monday with lots of sightseeing.

Originally, our group trip was to go to somewhere like PEI, but it was waaaay too far. After this road trip to montreal, I have realized that I would definately NOT like driving to PEI. It would be sooooooo far!! I think just going to montreal is a long enough trip to enduce bum numbess. Hehe. I sort of wished my friends had a cottage so we could head up to cottage area for a weekend. Oh wells, plenty of weekends to go to niagara and other places other than cottage country.

Anyhoos, overall, the trip was tonnes of phun. Aside from the fact that my friends are now fully pursuaded that I am really stoopid, (I made some really odd comments) lots of laughes were shared and phun pics taken.
