2004 Stanley Dragon Boat Race...

This past Tuesday I was at the dragon boat race festival cheering on my teammates as they raced against many other teams. This year's turn out was great! I think there were more than 160 teams that raced. Anyhoos, our rec team didn't do that well, but it was all for phun anyways. Our competitive team came in 4th, not too bad. All in all, everyone had loads of phun. It was great to hang out on our team junk that was located out in the waters, overlooking the start line. I'll post up pics as soon as I have the time. I hope you all are having a great summer whether it be working or travelling.
I met up with an ol' bud of mine yesterday for din din and dessert. It was great! I missed her so much! We had a great time just catching up. Food was great as was the wine. Mmmm. Friends really make a difference where ever you are located in the world. We're planning to meet in London at the beginning of Sept when she goes there for training too. I can't wait!
Anyhoos, I'll be jetting off to Beijing on Saturday for a few days. So far, time is picking up its pace and I feel that the 20th of July is soon approaching. Only one more month!! And after Beijing, only 2 more weeks or so! Woohoo!!
