rain...

I woke up at 7 this morning. It was pretty gloomy out. I haven't seen the sun since I've been back and today it's rainy out. Well, not actually rainy, but the clouds seem to have lowered themselves on the city. Anyhoos, I opened the window in my room today to let in some air. The air was nice, cool and crisp. It smelled like rain. I love the smell of the air before and after it rains. I'm not talking about that nasty sort of fishy smell, but the nice, wet rain smell. Anyway, if it isn't as cool as it is outside, I would love to go strolling in one of the many mountain paths around the area where I live. Maybe I will do that later this afternoon. It hasn't really started to rain yet, but the smell of rain is nice. I don't think hk ever has one of those "nice" rain days. You know, the kind where the temperature is warm and the rain is falling lightly? The only kind of rain hk has is pouring rain. Haha. The type where it's like ppl throw a bucket of water on you. Drenching, cold rain. Anyhoos, the air is very refreshing. I know, I know, air in hk refreshing? Yeah, I'm surprised too. But anyhoos, it's sorta nice out.
Actually, I can hear a lot of different birds singing outside. I don't see those birds, but I do see the big eagles flying overhead. Oh yeah, I don't think I ever told you guys that there are eagles here. They are huge! Sometimes I wonder if they'll fly down and eat me when I'm walking towards my car outside or when I'm playing tennis. They scare me!
Anyhoos, to those who are stuck in Toronto with snow piled up taller than me, HAHA. Temperature here is in the double digits. Actually, I wouldn't mind being in Toronto now and tunneling my way around the backyard for phun. Poo. Can someone fedex me a snowball? I'm missing out on the phun! I promise if you guys fedex me nice big snowballs, I'll attempt to throw them halfway around the world and hit you guys when you least suspect. Hehe. With my aim, who knows? It might just happen. Hehe.
