lying in the snow...

Today's snowfall is by far one of the nicest snowfalls I have seen in awhile. The kind where there isn't wind and the temperature isn't too cold. When the snow fell down slowly, I wanted to tilt my head back and stick my tongue out like I used to when I was a kid. I wonder why we don't always have these nice snowfalls. It's so peaceful. I was so happy when I was brushing the snow off my car just feeling the snow fall gently on my face. When I got home this evening, I wanted to just lie in the snow on my front lawn and make a big snow angel. I would have loved to lie there watching the snow fall towards me. It was so dark when I got home that I couldn't do it. I hope the snow keeps falling lightly like this tomorrow. I'd like to put on my ski pants and jacket and just lie in the snow for awhile while the snow falls peacefully -- at least before my younger cousins come to attack me while I'm down.
