short vacation...

So I'm back from my cruise. 75,000 tonnes of boredom. The trip was more tiring than phun. The asian cruise lines attempted to model themselves after the american cruise lines. It didn't quite make it. I guess, the ppl that are travelling with you also makes a difference. There were a looooooot of ppl from china. It sort of changes the whole atmosphere. Rudeness galore.
We went to Hainan Island, which is China's second largest island (next to Taiwan). I feel so bad for the amusement park there. Huge place with what could be a great day of phun, but lacking visitors. I've never been to a park where there are no line ups for rides. Go figure. I think the amount of ppl that go probably barely pays for minimum maintenance of the place.
Anyhoos, the food wasn't good but I still managed to eat a lot. I had to be rolled off the boat on the plank they use to move luggage. haha. No, wasn't quite to that point, but close enough. I was bored, so I just walked around the ship and ate and ate and ate. I managed to swipe my card enough with alcoholic drinks since our cabin got $500HKD free food and drink cuz we had two balcony cabins. haha. Me gots lots of drinkies. Teehee.
Will post pics when I have the chance to. Oh, I forgot to add that there was one thing that made the trip enjoyable. That is that Miss Asia Universe contestants were on the same cruise as us. They were filming during the late evening, so we got to see first hand all the purty ladies. I know you males must be like "dang, i wish i went too!" Honestly, there isn't much difference between the avg Joey and those models. They're just really tall and anorexic. Besides that, I thought their faces were avg. But Kai goh, I know you would have loved following these purty girls around. haha.
