national day...

So yesterday was National Day. I got the day off school. I was invited to a party by one of my classmates, but I didn't think that I would be comfortable going, considering all my classmates are the age of my parents. I don't mind socializing with adults, it would just sorta be weird, that's all.
There were fireworks last nite. It was fantabulous. I had to study for a test so I decided to head back up to my sis's place early. I didnt' know how kick ass the view woudl be from my mum's place, so I missed out. From my sis's place we could only see the fireworks that went really high cuz there was this huge mountain in the way. I turned on the tv so I could hear the music and see what I missed. My sis told me how beautiful it is every year to see it from my mum's place. It's like we had front row seats. Oh well, apprantly there's going to be some fireworks competition between countries. So we'll be able to catch those. Sort of like the Toronto Symphony of Fire. But I gotta say, last nite's display of fireworks were breathtaking (eventhough I saw most of it on tv). They put in a looooot of money. The whole show was about 25 mins long I think. I think each country was allowed to perform one song. So it was great. Really great fireworks. I hafta say, it was even better than the Toronto Symphony of Fire.
Okay, nothing really interesting to say, but that I hafta go out more. I think I'm starting to become a HK hermit. Eh. I duno if I told you guys, but I'm going to Singapore with my sis for the weekend. We're going to go spa-ing. It'll be nice and relaxing so yay me.
Hm. I think I'll write later when I have some more interesting things to say. Ta for now.
