lunch...

Not much to update about the weekend except I got into yet another argument with my mum, with both of us yelling at each other, "I don't want to talk to you anymore!" Call me childish, but she started it first! Sunday, I went into the office with my sister to pick up some work to be done. In the evening, we had a farewell din din with a friend from Connecticut. Damn him, he's going back to a nice new infiniti jeep!! Blah!! I wanted that car! But it's oki, mesa got the murano. :O)
I had a great lunch today. I skipped out on my tutorial (sshh, don't tell my mum), cuz I found out she was having lunch with my great aunt. I hadn't seen her since last year and I was dying to meet up with her again. I ended up having lunch with my great aunt, my great uncle, my uncle and his wife. I had never met them before. Well, I met my great uncle when I was a baby, so that doens't count. I had a great conversation with my great uncle. I discovered that my dad was sooo like him. My dad looked a lot like my great uncle. It was so phunnie. I would call the lunch the Wong family gathering. Well, a small portion of the family. Phunnie thing I noticed about my great uncles and aunts on my dad's side is that all the males have blue eyes. Yes, blue. You know how we have black or dark brown/black pupils? Well, the Wong family males have a light blue area on the outter rim of their pupils. I think it's from alcohol consumption, but I duno. It's kinda kool though. haha. The other thing I noticed about Wong family males, is that they all have a very heavy shanghainese accent. My great aunt was as beautiful as ever. She's the greatest I have to tell ya! I might go visit them in Shanghai when I find a couple days off. Teehee.
