greetings from singapore!

So I'm in the Cathay Pacific Lounge at the Singapore airport awaiting my flight back to hk. I spent yesterday in Bintan, Indonesia. It was loads of phun. Banyan Tree is THE place to spa at if ur going on honeymoon (if ur the type that likes to relax) or if ur going on a wedding anniversary. All the guests stay in separate villas. The only way to get around is either hiking around or calling for a golf buggie to take you to the spa area or restaurants. Soo nice! u can also swim on the beach or in the cove area. BEAUUUUUUTIFUL. I only went to Banyan Tree to spa. My sis and I stayed at Ansagna which is the sister resort of Banyan Tree. It was nice too but not nearly as nice as Banyan Tree. But then again, the price difference is huge to stay at Banyan Tree Bintan. I went on a Mangrove boat tour yesterday too. That was really exciting. We sat in a tiny boat motorized boat and went to discover the South China Sea and into these rivers that get smaller and smaller until u can't possibly move in anymore. It was great! Absolutely fantabulous. We saw snakes, monkeys and lots of mangroves. It was really neat. The reason why I thought it was great was becuase not a lot of ppl take these tours and it's not man-made either. There were no fences or anything to keep the wildlife away from u. The only thing u had was a lifejacket which would help you if you had to jump from the boat cuz one of the snakes fell into the boat from an overhanging branch. I guess the other exiciting thing of the trip was that I had dinner overlooking this amazing cove and there was a tropical thunderstorm so, I was able to watch lightening brighten the sky over the ocean and the cove. It was really something.
Anyhoos, too much to write about if I were to babble on about my trip. But let's just say that I've seen enough gekkos and bats to last me a life time. Eek. Hehe. I had a kick ass time.
