I think in the future I'd like to have a live funeral. For those who have read, "Tuesdays with Morrie," you know what I'm talking about. For those who may not know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about having a funeral for yourself when you are still alive, so you can hear what ppl have to say about you. You can feel how everyone feels about you. Isn't that what a funeral is for? To remember someone and talk about cherished memories? Wouldn't you want to be there to listen about all there is to know about yourself from others? If you were dead, you wouldn't be able to reciprocate your feelings that you feel when you see all these ppl that are at your funeral for you, so isn't it better to have a live funeral? You can tell those you love how much you care about them at your own funeral.
Maybe I'm just weird or have nothing better to think about than my own funeral (bad morbid thoughts here), but a live funeral sounds like a jolly good idea to me. So hopefully many many many years down the road, all of you guys will be there at my live funeral.
