rainy day for shopping...

So I went shopping with my dad today. Loads of phun. I got a chair for my room when I didn't even need one. Hahaha. We were suppose to go to Pier 1 imports to take a look at this chair that my dad wanted for the deck, instead I got a chair. You know those bamboo chairs that are like this round thingie on top of a stand? You can basically cradle urself in it in and sleep? I got one of those so that I could snuggle up next to the window and read. Sweeeeeeet! It's got this denim fabric too, so very nice. Hehe. Now the question is, will I really use it for the purpose that I bought it for or am I just going to use it as a hanger for my clothes? Hehe. We'll see.
We went to this Enbridge type store that was on Eglinton to buy a gas stove. The ppl there are really nice and informative. Maybe I thought that cuz the ppl at future shop are idiots. I swear those ppl need training of some sort. I think I knew more stuff than the guy that tried to help us out at Future Shop. Anyway, at the Enbridge store they had cookies that were fresh from the oven, so I took one from the nice lady and listened to her chat about the stove it was made in for 5 mins. Eh! It was worth it for the cookie. Hahaha. I think after shopping today, my dad is even more convinced that I'm still his 5 yr old daughter. Hahaha. I kept picking up stupid little things in awe and asking him to buy it for me (jokingly of course). Well, the opening of stainless steel garbage cans don't count, I didn't want one, but I was really amazed at how pretty a garbage can can be. Hehe. But for the day, I think the cookie bit was what really made me a 5 yr old. Hehe. I wanted another one, but my dad practically dragged me away from the plateful of cookies. He said I was "wai sick." Eh! For those of you who know me well, cookies and other yummie treats that are for free do that to me. I really wanted to take the plateful of fresh cookies and run! Hehehe.
Anyhoos, that was my rainy day out. We got drenched walking outside, but it was all worth it. Tonight will be phun, watching Finding Nemo with a bunch of friends. That will definately bring out the kid in me.
Sigh, now I have to go back to my laundry and cleaning of my room. Ta ta for now peeps.
