beautiful day...

It was so nice out today! I went down to the beaches with some new found friends and it was great! It was a bit windy but otherwise it was really really nice out. We sat on the nice sand and were 'sand potatoes' for a little while. We walked around and gazed in amazement at how some guys strategically stacked rocks. It was really neat. Anyway, we stayed for 2 hours or so and left. Luckily we left just before the traffic started to pile up for ppl going to the beaches to see the fireworks.
I was originally suppose to just go to the plaza for some ice cream and plaza sit. So as you can see, the ice cream and plaza sitting became dinner and ice cream and 'sand sitting' instead. I need to get out more. The nice weather today really lifted my spirits up. I can't believe how much I enjoy talking about food and being a pig. mmmmmmmm. Fooooooood. Let's hope this nice weather keeps up for the weekend so I can get out more.
