disappointed...

At first I thought this SARS thing wouldn't have too much of an affect on my life. It turns out, it does. First, my grad trip to Asia was cancelled. Second, my mom is not coming back for my graduation. Third, my cousin has to postpone his flight to HK for his summer job. Bah!
I guess I'm more peeved that my mum isn't going to come to my convocation. I know, it's nothing really, 2-3 hrs worth of sitting on hard benches and waiting for them to call my name. I only am up for about 1 min to kneel in front of the chancellor or whoever it is. But still, it's significant becuase I've completed another milestone in life. I just want that one typical graduation picture for memory sake. You know, the pic of the family all with a toothy grin on their faces as they stand outside with me in my graduation garb. I guess I'll still have that pic, but it won't be a complete pic. Oh well, let's hope I get some further education so that I can reach another milestone and hopefully then, everyone will be able to be there to share that moment with me.
