Oof...
I promised my dad that I'd have din din with him tonite. He decided to go up to First Markham Place since there were a tonne of places to eat there. I figured that we'd probably eat at a restaurant, and of course, we ended up eating at the food court! Aiya. Oh well, it was really really good Shanghainese food. If you guys go to up there, go to the little Shanghainese place at the end of the food court.
My dad and I decided to roam around the indoor mall since my dad hasn't been there before. He got attracted to one of those stores that sell those statues of Buddhas and Goddesses in wood. I knew he was going to get something. He saw a carving of 2 fishes swimming in a coral reef he liked and we bought it. I thought the thing was pretty nice, but at the same time IT WAS A HUGE PIECE OF WOOD!! I think it was like 50lbs worth of wood. I spent half an hour strategically moving it from the car into the house via the slippery front door steps. It was sooo heavy. I guess it being in a odd shape and having pieces of coral reef sticking out didn't help the moving process.
I went to a pub to hang out with some friends and watch the Leaf game after the whole moving ordeal. Well, I missed a lot of the game and I wasn't paying too much attention the last part of the game cause I was chatting with some friends. But no matter, we won! Yay!
