my gran...

Aside from having a million fone calls wake me up this morning (the long D rings are the worse, they work better than alarm clocks), my gran decided to wake me up early. She walks into my room and just starts chatting away. I'm suppose to take her yum cha today with my aunt. My gran hasn't been home a lot lately, she's been staying over at my aunt's house more often now, so I don't get to see her as much. I was trying to see if I could get a couple more minutes of sleep when she started asking me again. The last time I saw her at my house over the weekend she had asked me the same thing. "I haven't seen your boyfriend come by in awhile, you know, so 'n so's son? Has he been really busy with school?" etc etc. And all I can answer was "erm, yeah. He's got a lot of work to do" and the convo would continue with "Is he working at the bank again? He's so smart to get a job at the bank." etc etc.
Sigh. Is it just me, or does her asking come more often when I'm not in a relationship? I think it's just me. She's always asked about him and on occasion, my old best friend. I guess maybe it's whoever leaves a good impression or she preferes to remember most, she'd ask about? I don't know. But it is kind of cute when she tries to say the names of my friends, like "Jennifer" becomes "jyan-a-bo." interesting eh?
Anyway, I'm still tired. I was so tired/sleepie last night and I thought I'd sleep in. But even if the fone didn't ring this morning, I probably would have gotten up. I feel tired, but I can't sleep. Blah. I'm going to shower to wake up AND also to see how I'm going to deal with my hair. :O(
