I hate tax season...

Yay me! I filed four tax returns today. I went out and bought quicktax for $40 and got a $15 rebate. That's a better deal than their online promo which was to file your tax on quicktax web for $19.95 per tax return. Anyway, so I went home and spent the whole day doing taxes. It took me awhile to learn the program as well as understand what I was suppose to do. I know, I know, I'm a dummie at this stuff since I was lazy to do it in the previous years. Why do it myself when you have an accountant as your sister? :OP
Hopefully, I didn't mess things up. I really don't want the tax ppl to send me back letters saying that I screwed up all the taxes and that they want to check everything now. But, my dad sat beside me through most of the tax filing, so I think they were done right. I knew at times my dad wanted to wack me over the head with a stupid stick. I'd ask really stupid questions, only to realize that the answer was right in front of my face. Nice way of showing my dad how much I've matured in university eh? hehe. Hopefully he was thinking that I was still his little girl so that my stupidity wasn't too obvious. Oh well, I'm so proud of myself. teehee. I thought I wouldn't be able to figure taxes out and that I'd be up all weekend doing them. But I'm done done done! Now I can proudly say "I did my taxes myself!" and sort of be able to explain how to do taxes. :O)
But seriously, don't ask me how to do taxes, I don't want my "bright" side showing.
