1 down...4 to go
It seems like it's already the beginning of finals. I have midterms for the two courses that I don't have finals in. Yay me. I have midterms up until the last week of school. I have two "midterms" for the same subject only a week and a half apart. Sigh. The studying never ends. Because of the midterms that I have before finals, I'm not going to have enough time to prepare for my first final. Aiya. Time for some real time management. I guess I'll be burrowing in my study box for the next 4 weeks. Then I'll be free...freeee!!
So today I went to chat with one of my profs about the academic reference she was going to write me. I had a short but phun convo with her. She's a really nice prof to chat with. She even showed me a picture of her unborn baby that she put as her wallpaper. She's so excited about her first child, she doesn't even want to know what sex he/she is. I was happy that she wanted to write me an academic reference but for a second I panicked when she said "Oh! you were in my bioinfo class last year right? and you did a presentation? I can just take out my notes and see what the comments were." Doh! I forgot about my bioinfo class with her. I didn't think she'd look that far back, I thought she'd only focus on the course I am in with her now. Oh well. I don't think I did the greatest, but hopefully she'll write about the good stuff about me and not the bad stuff. Hehe...(viv laughs nervously).
About this war that is going to happen. Aren't there other ways to resolve all this? Sigh. War doesn't solve everything. Bah. Whatever, I'm still adament on the fact that Bush can't "lok toi" if he doesn't go to war. It's just sad that everyone has always said that war would be the last resort, and that we should do everything possible to prevent a war, but now we're resorting to war. Has it really come to the point that war is the only answer? Are we really totally out of ideas to solve this issue? Bah. War affects everyone and war is definately not the resolution to problems.
