valentine's day...

valentine's day. what did i do today? well, i don't have a significant other to spend the day with, so no, i did not get pampered with chocolates and flowers (though i would have reeeaally liked the chocolate) and treated to a nice din din. wouldn't it be nice (if u had a significant other) to be pampered every now and then? not on a specific date, but at ur own pace?
anyways, so i went to din din with the girls at marche. all in all it was a nice evening out, except for "the scarf lady". this woman came into marche looking around our table and asking us if we saw her scarf. so we looked around our table, and even stood up and shook all our jackets to show her we didn't see a scarf. we told her to maybe ask the manager to see if they had found it and put it aside for her. btu this lady kept comign back and saying "i was here only 10 mins ago, it couldn't have gone missing so fast!" and we said maybe someone took it, but she believed that nobody would steal in 10 mins, making it seem that only we could have hid it. she lingered in the restaurant for atlesat 40 mins talking with the managers. we had actually hoped she'd come back so we can tell her how rude she was.
oh well, so basically that was my valentine's day, being accused of stealing a scarf at marche. whoopee! we actually thought of going around the tables swiping salt and pepper shakers and utensils while she was still in teh restaurant for phun. mwahaha. that would be so bad.
